How Burn Boot Camp Changed My Life

Burpee Madness was my very first day at Burn Bootcamp. Some people would look at that and run. I took it as a challenge. After just having my daughter, gaining 60 pounds, and trying to manage postpartum depression, I quickly realized the gym was my “me” time. I dedicated the 45-minute class to bettering myself.

 

I went from not knowing who I was or my purpose; to being back to my old self, confident and strong. I played competitive sports my entire life. By putting in effort, commitment, discipline, and determination, I would overcome my challenges. My father instilled that in me at a young age. I knew gaining muscle back and losing the baby weight would be the hardest journey I would ever take.

Burn has become my place to shape my character and achieve goals. The gym has shown me that not only can you do it, but you can be your best self; as a mother, wife, daughter, and friend. I have made incredible relationships at Burn. The benefits of healthiness and friendships outweigh any of the temporary aches and pains of a workout.

 

I am a true believer in Burn. When someone is looking for inspiration and improvement, I tell them all about its amazing benefits. Burn is my saving grace and I will always appreciate the hard work, dedication and drive that this community possesses.
